United for Brownsville launches, linking together parents, service providers and community institutions to advance early childhood development in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The group is an initiative of Community Solutions and the Brownsville Partnership in collaboration with SCO Family of Services.
Construction begins at the Swift Factory in North Hartford, CT, a $33 million project to transform an abandoned factory into a food business hub. The redevelopment will bring more than 150 long-term jobs to the North Hartford Promise Zone.
